Chemistry Minors

The Chemistry minor consists of the following courses:

  • General Chemistry Lecture I & II (CHEM 001 & 002) and Lab I & II (CHEM 009 & 010) [see note below]  
  • Organic Chemistry Lecture I & II (CHEM 115 & 117) and Lab I & II (CHEM 116 & 118)
  • 2 additional Chemistry courses*

Note: Effective Fall 2023, all main campus courses have been renumbered using a new 4-digit numbering system.

*Additional chemistry courses may be chosen from among Physical Chemistry (CHEM 219 & 220), Analytical Chemistry w/ Lab (CHEM 211/213), Synthetic Methods Lab (CHEM 228), Inorganic Chemistry (CHEM 366), and Biochemistry I (CHEM 419). One of the two courses must include a laboratory component.

Note: CHEM 055 & 057 and CHEM 056 & 058 lecture and lab courses also fulfill this requirement
