Chemistry Minors
The Chemistry minor consists of the following courses:
- General Chemistry Lecture I & II (CHEM 1100 & 1200) and Lab I & II (CHEM 1105 & 1205)* Â
- Organic Chemistry Lecture I & II (CHEM 2100 & 2200) and Lab I & II (CHEM 2105 & 2205)**
- 2 additional Chemistry courses***
*CHEM 1300 & 1400 and CHEM 1305 & 1405 (lecture and lab) courses also fulfill this requirement
**CHEM 2300 & 2400 and CHEM 2305 & 2405 (lecture and lab) courses also fulfill this requirement
***Additional chemistry courses may be chosen from among Physical Chemistry (CHEM 3300, 3350, 3400), Analytical Chemistry w/ Lab (CHEM 3100 & 3105), Synthetic Methods Lab (CHEM 3605), Inorganic Chemistry (CHEM 3600), and Biochemistry I (CHEM 4100). One of the two courses must include a laboratory component.
