Dr. Janeth Presores receives the Dean’s Award for Excellence in Teaching

Congratulations to our faculty member Dr. Janeth Presores in being presented a prestigious award for excellence in teaching in the undergraduate curriculum. This award is given to a small number of faculty each year in recognition of their outstanding contribution to the educational mission of Georgetown College. Dr. Presores teaches both sections of the General Chemistry Laboratories and is therefore responsible for reaching hundreds of undergraduates each year in addition to mentoring several graduate student teaching assistants. The department is specifically thankful for her tireless work throughout the virtual offerings of the laboratory sections during the pandemic.
