The 19th annual Georgetown University Synthesis Symposium was held on Friday August 5th.  After a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the day long symposium returned with eight talks.  Seven graduate students and one post-doctoral researcher presented their research to Chemistry department students, faculty, and staff.  The speakers represented six different research groups and covered topics from organic, inorganic, polymer, and biochemical synthesis.  The symposium was well attended with upwards of 30 audience members and was capped off with a barbecue outside of Regents Hall.
