Field School visits Georgetown Chemistry
Posted in News
The honors chemistry class of the Field School in Washington DC visited the Georgetown Chemistry department this past week. They brought samples of aspirin they synthesized to collect IR, NMR, and X-ray diffraction data for characterization. Thank you to Eryn and Ryan, our amazing graduate students, for explaining their research and teaching them IR and NMR. Also thank you to our amazing crystallographer, Jeff, for leading them through the collection of X-ray diffraction data.
If you are interested in bringing your group to Georgetown or are interested in helping with visiting groups, reach out to Michelle Bertke at mmb341@georgetown.edu.
