Outreach at the Boys and Girls Club
Posted in News
Undergraduate and graduate students of the chemistry department spent the summer sharing science with the Boys and Girls Club in Georgetown. Members of the chemistry department led groups of students in the summer camp at the Boys and Girls Club through hands on science experiments. Activities included making slime, creating Alka seltzer rockets, egg drop engineering challenge, cyanotype printing, and many more! Camp participants loved running the experiments and the Georgetown students had a great time interacting with the kids.
