Adopt A Family
Georgetown adopt a family holiday program.

Each year the Office of Human Resources at Georgetown runs the Sponsor A Family program for Georgetown Families that might need assistance. This year the members of the Chemistry Department came together to support a family in need with gifts and gift cards. Thanks to all those who contributed, we were able to provide many toys for all the kids, clothes for everyone, a large amount of formula for the 7 month old, and over $200 in gift cards for the family. This program has been a great way for members of the department to come together in spirit even when the pandemic might keep us apart.
